Stylist Sasa Jalali Johnson grew up in Northern California's Bay Area. From a young age, Sasa had a creative eye, acknowledging she spent more effort choosing her school day outfits and reorganizing her friends closets rather than focusing on her studies. In a time before Pinterest existed Sasa used the walls of her bedroom which were covered from floor to ceiling with fashion magazines as her inspiration.
This interest in fashion led Sasa to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where she earned her degree. Soon after she moved to LA to pursue her dreams of working as a stylist. Within a few months of living in LA she landed her first styling gig with acclaimed photographer David La Chapelle. While assisting and later keying jobs with La Chapelle, Sasa's first work experience as a stylist, brought her in contact with entertainment royalty including Elton John, Elizabeth Taylor, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera and Pink. Admittedly, Sasa says this time working with the La Chapelle team gave her a priceless foundation and knowledge that allowed her to have the confidence and expertise she exhibits today.
Fast forward to 2023 where Sasa’s experience is limitless with editorial, advertising, music video, TV series, feature film, costume design, on camera style expert and the list goes on! After 20 years of living a fast paced life in Los Angeles Sasa and her husband Marco decided it was time to move back to their roots in the San Fransisco Bay Area. Here they are raising their 7 year old son Cedar and 3 year old daughter Sage. This transition has given Sasa the opportunity to take on another area of fashion that she loves…personal styling. In this new chapter of her life she is looking forward to bringing the experience and expertise she has gained working with her celebrity clients and sharing them with you!
